Strathcona Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood has some of the best and oldest architecture around. In no other neighbourhood will u find more heritage homes in the city filled with artist studios. It could be a bit more mixed with shops and public transit but otherwise its a neighbourhood worth checking out .Being right next to Chinatown for cheap eats and groceries and the DTES for history and a look at the city's current state.
