South Vancouver

While nobody can argue Vancouver is not a well planned city(probably the best in Canada) not all of the city is close enough to amenities just to walk(like Cambie Village, Main,Commercial,West End etc, Kits, etc. South Vancouver from the end of Main street or around the end of Cambie, Marine Drive, Knight, Victoria, are still predominantly residential with just some commercial space...and very car dependant. Althougn Marine Drive has huge outlets of lands for car dealerships, factories, Superstore..and we need all those...you practically need a car to get in to these pieces of land as the parking lot is the first thing that greets you...

have u seen how dangerous it is walking up to superstore on that hill with no pedestrian designated area?. There are still many parts of Vancouver who probably dont feel they live in the most livable city.
