Why oh why does the city think that putting a stadium of all places gastown one of the most beautiful and historical neighbourhoods of the city to get away from the generic identical neighbourhoods of Yaletown and Coal habour. They can put it in south Vancouver where land is all empty around Marine Drive or even somewhere else in Burnaby or Surrey. Gastwon being crowded already with tourists,residents, employees by foot and the streets being narrow and obviously made for not driving. I dont understand why city council has so far made no major qualms about it. The design of this futuristic stadium in the older part of town makes no sense.
